Office Manager
Melissa has been with our organization since 1999 and has worked exclusively at Hickory Tree for the past 26 years. She lives in Salisbury with her husband, Randy, and their three dogs: Colt, River, and Chevie. As the office manager, Melissa's goal is to ensure that all your needs, as well as your pets' needs, are met with every visit to Hickory Tree. |

Head Veterinary Assistant
Jennifer has been part of our Hickory Tree team since 2008 and is a valuable asset. She previously worked at the Forsyth Humane Society and has over 20 years of experience in animal rescue and medicine. Jennifer aims to ensure all our clients are informed about the best medical care for their pets. |
Veterinary Assistant
Ariel has been with our veterinary staff since July 2021. She has 4 years experience as a veterinary assistant. She lives locally with her husband and new little girl, Zola Her canine family members are Rogue a husky mix and Jolene an aussie mix.

Kennel/Day Care Attendant
Nicole joined our Day Care and Kennel team in 2023. She cares for our boarding and daycare kids as if they were her own. Nicole is happy to make your pets feel like that are at home here at Hickory Tree.
Kennel/Day Care Attendant
Heather joined our Day Care and Kennel team in June 2023. She is a great pet advocate, making sure your pets are healthy and happy during their stay with us. |
Registered Veterinary Technician
Ronnie, is extremely passionate about animals and her job in the veterinary field. Ronnie has a menagerie of pets, from canines, chickens, spiders and such. She gives value quality customer service to our clients and their pets!

Emily, who is extremely passionate about animals and their job in the veterinary field. Will you give value quality customer service to our clients and their pets! 
Groomer
Michelle is our groomer at Hickory Tree. She is a master groomer with a degree from Groomingsdale and a member of NDGAA. She has been grooming for over 25 years. Your pets are in great hands. 
Kennel/Day Care Attendant
Nichole joined our Day Care and Kennel team in 2025. Maggie strives make sure all your pets are comfortable and happy while spend time with us at Hickory Tree.
